vintage finds
A friend of my grandparents died recently and because she had no children, I was allowed to pick out what I like. I especially love the little golden watch, although I actually don´t wear watches. I´ve never seen such a cute and pretty one.

Strasbourg
The last days I´ve been visiting my aunt in Freiburg. Then we drove to Strasbourg ( France), which isn´t far away, to go shopping at Sephora. Yeaah finally :D! I´ve waited so long for that!
Straßbourg is such a wonderful town. If I would have chosen French in school, I would immediately move there... but I´ma Latin fool ... -.-"Tuesday, August 3
Bookreview: "Karl" by Paul Sahner
Paul Sahner, member of the editorial of the magazine Bunte writes a book about Karl Lagerfeld. It is one of those books that are very hard to read and in which one or the other word you look up or read some sentences twice in order to understand them. I was a little troubled at the beginning but gradually found pleasure in the way it is presented and written.
Paul Sahner knows Karl Lagerfeld apparently quite long, and tells its story. In between, he always brings back one of Karl quotations that come from public interviews. Sometimes there are interviews between Lagerfeld and Sahner also.
The quotations from Lagerfeld save the book and in parts it is also really good.
The amount of quotes and interview fragments are like building blocks that can be assembled to your own Lagerfeld.I am impressed by this man
He was born in 1933 (Also 77 years old), creative director at Chanel, brings in 16 fashion collections a year and deals with other projects too. Karl Lagerfeld is one of the most successful designers in the world and will hopefully make even fashion when he´s 90.
